Extreme Fishing with Robson Green S3 – The World Tour

Robson Green is an actor who liked to dabble in a spot of fishing. But over two series of Extreme Fishing his eyes were opened to some of the most mind blowing fishing on the planet. And quite frankly, he’s addicted.

Now Robson’s back for more – much more. Yes, it’s time for the Extreme Fishing World Tour. He’s spending four out of five months on the road…

The World Tour Begins
Over twelve adrenaline-charged episodes, Robson casts off on his most ambitious journey yet—an extraordinary globe-spanning adventure that covers more than 96,600 kilometres. From the mighty Amazon River to the mysterious depths of the Indian Ocean, the wilds of Papua New Guinea to the vast African plains, from bustling China to vibrant India—no corner of the planet is left unexplored.

The Ultimate Fishing Challenge
This isn’t just travel—it’s survival. Robson squares off against nature’s fiercest aquatic beasts: mangrove snappers with stealth and bite, bullish sharks with unstoppable force, and tiger fish that strike like lightning. He risks everything taking on lethal predators like razor-toothed piranhas and the infamously poisonous Japanese fugu.

Unforgettable Encounters
Along the way, he meets a kaleidoscope of eccentric, daring, and downright wacky individuals—each one adding colour to this wild tapestry of cultures and creatures. And through it all, Robson’s unstoppable energy and infectious enthusiasm light up the screen, making every adventure a joyride into the unknown.

This series was originally shown on Channel 5 (UK) in two parts. Part one was shown between 27 May and 1 June 2010 (episodes 1-4), and part two was shown between 1 November and 20 December 2010 (episodes 5-12).

Some sources online may therefore refer to these as series 3 and series 4, but most will show that it’s one single series 3.
