TV favourites join up for new BBC travel show

By Ed Gleave | Daily Star

Gail Porter and Robson Green have teamed up for a new travel show.

The TV favourites signed up to head to Scotland to visit a string of amazing locations which include Cairngorms National Park and Inverness. The show, which is being made for the BBC, has already been filmed and they loved every second. Bosses at the BBC have high hopes it will be a hit.

Gail said: “Robson and I spent a weekend together filming the show. I’d never met him before doing it. He was really lovely. We talked about our mental health. We covered loads of different subjects.”

Gail said: “For the weekend we had together, it was two friends talking about life and the universe while being somewhere beautiful.

Bosses at the Beeb are confident it will be a ratings hit. An insider said: “Robson and Gail are both very popular with viewers. Getting them to visit such beautiful places was always going to be a recipe for success.”

While Gail hasn’t fronted a travel show before, Robson has been at the helm of the popular BBC Two show, Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes.

The show will air later this year.
